How Does Anxiety Treatment in Massachusetts Work?
At Lake Avenue Recovery, we believe anxiety is a treatable mental health disorder with the proper medical care, psychoeducation, and personalized treatment tailored to each person’s unique needs. We also believe people can lead productive and fulfilling lives while managing their symptoms once they learn how. Our anxiety treatment programs provide different levels of care to meet the diverse needs of our clients and include:
- High-Intensity Outpatient Treatment: Our high-intensity outpatient treatment program is designed to provide a highly structured and intensive level of care. Clients attend therapy for multiple hours each day weekly. In the evenings, they return home or to a supportive, sober living facility. This level of care is well-suited for people transitioning from a residential program and those needing a higher level of care but not 24/7 monitoring.
- IOP: Our IOP (intensive outpatient program) offers the same level of intensity as our Day Treatment but meets fewer hours weekly. Clients also have more flexibility to maintain personal commitments outside of treatment. IOPs are well-suited for those with a strong support system at home, and their anxiety has not disrupted their daily routines. IOPs also provide a step-down level of care from our Day Treatment.
Evening IOP: Our evening IOP offers the same level of care as our daytime IOP, but with sessions held in the evenings. This provides even more flexibility for individuals who must work, attend school, or take care of other personal obligations during the day. - OP: Our OP (outpatient program) provides ongoing support and treatment for individuals who still need help managing their anxiety. Sessions are normally once a week at times that best work for our clients.
