Meet Alice! It is truly a privilege to welcome Alice to Lake Ave Recovery as our new Executive Director. Alice comes to LAR with years of experience as both a professional as well as an educator in the mental health field. Holding Master’s Degrees in Counseling Psychology and Early Childhood/Elementary Education, Alice brings a level of professionalism, humanism and knowledge that is essential in making a treatment program succeed.Specializing in substance-use disorders and co-occurring disorders, Alice focuses on utilizing a client-centered and solution- focused approach, highlighting and reinforcing positive attributes, resilience and progress. Alice is committed to clinical excellence and consistency of care delivered. She has extensive experience in program development, transformational leadership, cultural proficiency, and inter-disciplinary team collaboration, and has held leadership roles in across the ASAM continuum of care. With numerous incredible talents, many are surprised to find out that Alice began her career as a professional cellist and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education.Alice’s skilled artistic abilities help her bring a well- rounded approach to treatment, incorporating music and art into the healing process. Outside of the office, you can catch Alice with her fingers in the dirt gardening or trying out new and adventurous plant-based recipes. Alice also loves spending time on Cape Cod with family and friends.Alice brings a positive force and hope to Lake Ave Recovery and we are excited to witness her impact and watch her thrive.
