About Alice Lenhart
Alice brings years of experience as a mental health professional and educator to her leadership at Lake Avenue Recovery. She has specialized in the treatment of Substance Use Disorders and co-occurring disorders, utilizing a solution-focused approach that highlights positive attributes and resilience, and reinforces meaningful progress and positive change. Alice has extensive experience in program development, transformational leadership, cultural proficiency, and inter-disciplinary team collaboration, and has held leadership roles in across the ASAM continuum of care.
Alice began her career as a professional cellist (B.Mus, Ithaca College) and holds Masters Degrees in both Counseling Psychology and Early Childhood/Elementary Education from Antioch University New England. Alice has partially completed her Doctorate in Leadership at Rivier University focusing on aftercare and recovery-centered support services. Alice raised her family in Massachusetts and loves spending time on Cape Cod.
